Frankfort, IN – AMVC Swine Health Services welcomes Dr. Lauren Nagel to the swine-focused veterinary practice in Frankfort. Dr. Nagel is the team’s newest associate veterinarian and joins Drs. Max Rodibaugh, Jeff Harker, Amy Woods, and Dennis Villani.
“We are excited to have Lauren on our team. As our veterinary presence in the eastern U.S. continues to grow, we recognize the need for an additional veterinarian on staff to continue to best serve our client’s needs,” said Dr. Max Rodibaugh.
Originally from Rensselaer, Indiana, Nagel completed her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois. After graduation, she moved to Frankfort with her husband, Trent, and joined AMVC.
In her first five months at the practice, she has found her passion is bringing producers solutions by marrying production data and practices together.
“It has been interesting to see all the real-world factors that impact pig health. Everything from facilities to environment to nutrition all play an important role in raising healthy pigs,” commented Nagel. “I’m excited to be able to provide solutions and support to swine producers to keep their farms operating efficiently.”
Nagel provides veterinary expertise to swine producers in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
