Job Description:
The Bilingual HR Associate’s main purpose is to recruit and evaluate job candidates both local and TN VISA employees (at times) along with assisting in various translation situations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with hiring manager and/or location manager to come up with a recruiting strategy for each location
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, schools etc.
- Utilizes recruiting strategy to attract applicants by placing job advertisements and completing resume searches for both local and TN recruiting
- Interviews applicants on consistent set of qualifications and maintains rapport
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers
- Processes each applicant to ensure eligibility for employment including background checks etc.
- Provides new hire orientation weekly and ensures paperwork is completed
- Assists with TN VISA program including, letters, manager assistance, etc.
- Coaches managers on the recruiting process, TN process, and new hire paperwork
- Assigns and assists with Pork Quality Assurance and Transport Quality Assurance training sessions and record keeping
- Assists in leadership development by translating and giving trainings
- Handles employee appreciation including but not limited to anniversaries, retirement celebrations, awards, etc.
- Interprets, translates, and transcribes between English and Spanish in various capacities: written documents, technical training, in-person, and virtual
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Minimal travel is required
- Proficient in MS Office
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Skill to transcribe and interpret between English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Strict adherence to confidentiality is a must
Location: Audubon, IA *May be open to hybrid remote position depending on candidate’s place of residence
Type: Full time (40 hours a week)
